I haven’t written about the R. Kelly trial and his atrocious acquittal because as a general rule I try to stay out of media circuses, I’ve been sick for the past several days, I very sadly never expected for a moment that he would actually be convicted of the crime he committed, and so many others have covered it and done a great job. Today’s premiere of Fox News‘ “Just In with Laura Ingraham” started out with a bang. Former Presidential candidate, Fred Thompson, was on to discuss the recent Supreme Court rulings on foreign enemy combatants among others. Pleased he was not.

Jeff Weiner, the executive VP in charge of Yahoo’s network division (which includes the portal, search, media, and communications products) is officially leaving.The news, which already leaked last week, is that Weiner will become an executive in residence at both Accel Partners and Greylock Partners.

Murat Günak, former Head of Design at VW, has measured the vital stats of the auto industry and his diagnosis is "too big, too heavy, too expensive". With the support of Swiss millionare Lorenzo Schmid, Günak plans to buck the trend. Günak and Schmid founded the company Mindset and developed a hybrid 2+2-seater they call the Six50.
