Mon, 28 Apr 2008 16:45:21 PDT
Yo all, I'm new around here but I'm fairly handy around forums in general (even if I don't post too often without reason). I like anime (duh), mainly what my friend gets me into- and since she's a regular subscriber to CFUD, that's a varied lot. Most recently I watched "Brave Story", which was a sweet movie; I've also seen some FMA, Cowboy Bebop, Grave of the Fireflies, InuYasha, Sailor Moon, Gurren Lagann, etc. I'm open to talk with almost anyone, save for idiots (who are merely stupid), and sh

Being diabetic places you in the ‘high risk’ category during pregnancy and increases ones risk for miscarriage, stillbirth and birth defects. The actual number of pregnant women with pre-existing diabetes… In 1999, there were 245 such women; by 2005, there were 537. That translates to a rate that rose fro

"Pretty soon we'll have to fly naked!" The mass media rapidly embraced the UK terror storyline fed to them. The BBC, CNN, CBC Newsworld and other all-news broadcasters covered scarcely anything but the narrowly averted catastrophe throughout the day. Funny thing, but the general public wasn't buying it. The reaction was surprisingly cynical...

Mon, 28 Apr 2008 15:43:40 PDT
CARDIN COMMENTS: Bye-bye to Business As Usual If there’s a single theme that unites the past week’s crop of news, analysis, commentary, and prophetic utterances, it is that Business As Usual — a term that surely deserves the proper-noun caps by this point — is altogether dead. Okay, that may be jumping the gun a bit. Presently BAU still in the dying stage. But for all practical purposes, as a model for what we inhabitants of planet earth can and should expect out of life from here to the
